Our children's mixed media art program offers hands-on art activities like painting, drawing, collage making, mixed-media, printmaking, 3D sculpture, up-cycled art, paper mâché and crafting. We focus more on the joy of creating the art rather than the finished product!

10-11am Beginning Hand Sewing & Embroidery
Learn essential stitches, techniques for adding decorative details
with embroidery floss

New! - Open Studio Process Art - Creative Credits
Creative Credits let artists of all ages explore our Open Studio during regular Open Studio hours. Kids ages 8+ may be dropped off, while younger artists must be accompanied by an adult. This time is for independent work, with help from our friendly art assistants as needed. Your child can choose from any of our available art projects to spend their Creative Credits, making each visit a unique, hands-on creative experience. "Read More" below

Program Director, Owner
I’m excited to introduce myself as the new owner of The Local Spark-Cabot. My name is Bridget, and I bring over 10 years of experience as a certified teacher, along with both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in communications. My background allows me to blend education and creativity to create engaging, meaningful learning experiences.
I’m a proud wife, mom to two boys, and dog mom to a fluffy pup named Finn. I believe art is a powerful tool for self-expression and confidence, and I look forward to building a creative community through The Local Spark-Cabot.
